Hello, I'm Heather. I teach small group somatic yoga classes and offer private sessions in the greater Des Moines area.

I became a yoga teacher because yoga has been life-changing for me, and I want to share what I've learned so others can benefit, too. I want to dispel the myth that yoga is only for people who are flexible or athletic. That's not true. Yoga is for everyone. It doesn't matter what physical abilities you have.

Today, my practice and teaching approach blends Somatics, Therapeutic Yoga & Classic Asana. This modality has the potential to free us from chronic pain and improve physical functioning, mobility, stability, and strength.
